April 25, 2023 — Kansas NASA EPSCoR Program has named Wichita State University’s College of Innovation and Design faculty member Maggie Schoonover as a recipient of its 2023 Partnership Development Grant for her proposal, “Familiarization Training Game for Extended Reality Spacesuit User Interface.”

April 25, 2023 - John Kirk returned to college at Wichita State University to study vocal music and dive into activities. March 30, 2023 - Wichita State University students use the editing suite at Shocker Studios for their video projects. The studio features theater lighting and seating, a 4K digital cinema compliant projector and a 200-inch screen. “No one else has this, certainly no one in the Midwest,” said Justin Rorabaugh, director of Shocker Studios.

March 24, 2023 - Paul Mills walked on the court at Charles Koch Arena as head coach of the Shockers for the first time on Thursday. He is well acquainted with the building, however, and how Wichita State fans can fill seats and affect games.

March 21, 2023 — The Society of Women Engineers (SWE), a student organization at Wichita State University, is hosting a Mother Daughter Day event for local middle school girls and their adult female role models. The event will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 25 in the lobby of the John Bardo Center at Wichita State.

March 16, 2023 — WSU Tech President and Vice President of Workforce Development at Wichita State University Dr. Sheree Utash testified before the U.S. Senate’s Commerce Committee on Aviation on Thursday about the growth of the aviation industry and the increasing demand for highly skilled aviation workers.

March 16, 2023 - Kyan Caudillo is a biology major at Wichita State University and minoring chemistry. His experience working at WSU’s Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory will help him as he studies and prepares to work in the medical field.

March 3, 2023 — Wichita State University has selected the 2023 recipient of the Linwood Sexton Scholarship: Grecia Esparza from Wichita East High School. Esparza will receive a full-ride scholarship to attend Wichita this fall.

Feb. 27, 2023 — The classic sit-com set – think anything from “I Love Lucy” to “Seinfeld” to “The Big Bang Theory” – is now a teaching tool at Wichita State University’s Shocker Studios.
